Environmental Services is composed of laundry, housekeeping and maintenance services working together to provide a safe, comfortable environment for our residents, families, staff and visitors.
Under the direction of our Director of Finance, the Leadership Team is responsible and accountable for funding received from the Department of Health & Wellness. Our Finance Team consists of our Director and two Clerks – The Accounting Clerk ensures our employees and our suppliers are paid promptly, the resident Clerk provides various services to residents of our home.
The Food Services Department focuses on meeting individual nutritional needs while providing residents and staff with meals and snacks that are wholesome and nutritious.
Our Leadership Team is comprised of nine individuals who provide support and direction to ensure the safe, efficient, effective delivery of excellence in care and services. Lead by the CEO, the members of the Leadership Team include the Directors of Care, Food Services, Environmental Services, Recreation, Volunteer and Spiritual Care Services, Rehabilitation Services and Finance as well as the Human Resource and Education Coordinators.
The Nursing Department is responsible for the overall care of each and every resident. Working together as a team, our RN’s, LPN’s and CCA staff provide compassionate, excellent care to the 136 residents living in five communities within the Home.
Recreation Staff provide therapeutic recreation activities and programs which stimulate the mind, body, and spirit.
The Walking Stick Rehab is staffed by an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and two Rehab Aides. Through relationship building and the provision of best practice rehabilitation, our primary goal is to keep our residents mobile and engaged in their communities.
