Each year, during the month of November, the R.K. Foundation carries out its Lights of Love fundraising campaign with a specific project in mind. The campaign culminates with a special ceremony held in the R. K. Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on the first Sunday of December.
Individuals can donate by purchasing a light on the R.K. MacDonald Christmas tree. There is no limit to the number of lights a person can purchase. Tax receipts are available upon request, and cards can be sent to individuals in whose name you have donated. Contributions can also be made in memory of loved ones who have passed away.
This year the Lights of Love campaign focuses on a Therapeutic Bath System. Over the past several years, the R. K. has replaced three of its four 20-year-old systems. This new system will service the R. K.’s Brambleberry and Maple Ridge sections.
Donations can be made in the following amounts (light bulbs):
- White – $10
- Yellow – $20
- Green – $30
- Red – $50
- Blue – $100
- Silver – $200
- Gold – $500
