The RK MacDonald Nursing Home would like to remind visitors, staff, and residents to be mindful of those with shellfish allergies this spring and summer. Shellfish allergies can cause serious, life-threatening reactions. To minimize the risk of cross-contamination and exposure, this SOP (standard operating procedure) outlines the mandatory procedures that must be followed when lobster is brought into the facility.
