Chelsey MacIsaac
Chelsey originally joined the RK MacDonald team in 2015, working in the Recreation Department as a Therapeutic Recreation Programmer. Chelsey then spent two years working in acute care at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital before returning to the R.K., and into the role as Resident Support Facilitator in April 2025.
Chelsey has a passion for geriatric care and works to support seniors in the aging process; advocating for dignity, autonomy, and wellbeing in long term care. Her goal is to ensure residents and families feel that their voice is heard and valued. Chelsey can be a first point of contact for residents and families to share their feedback in a safe and confidential manner and ensure appropriate Seniors Leaders are informed and follow up.
Chelsey also coordinates new admissions to the R.K MacDonald Nursing Home, and understands the challenges and complexities that can come with the transition into long term care. Chelsey works with residents and their families to support a smooth admission into the home.
Chelsey’s door is always open and she is happy to connect with resident and families, and learn how we can best meet your loved one’s needs.
